Joel Guptill is on a mission to blend the pop/blues guitar driven sound with soulful melodies that create a fresh experience for the listener. Inspired by music from the 60's and 70's as well as the early 2000's, he would say his music as if John Mayer and Allen Stone had a music baby...with an added vibe of indie rock. His fearlessly honest lyrics, easily singable melodies, and groovy rhythms will have the listener hooked by the first verse and singing by second chorus.

Joel is an East Coast Canadian currently based in Nashville, TN. He has performed for audiences all across the United States and has made strong headway in the local Nashville scene since his arrival in late 2019. He features regularly with the award winning artist collective Pitch Meeting and performed at Bonnaroo Festival in 2022 and 2023. He just released his latest single “My Own Way” at the top of 2026. It is the start of the next set of songs set to release throughout the year that sonically blend a “Modern meets Vintage” sound.
